September is a culturally charged month for Iliganons. It's time for Diyandi Festival sa Iligan, a month-long cultural celebration in honor of its patron saint, St. Michael.   • Opening Salvo (and float parade) - September 1  
  • 28th Mindanao Business Conference - the biggest gathering in the Southern Philippines of the people in the business sector; September 11-14
  • IPAG: Tales from Mindanao - internationally acclaimed dance troupe, Integrated Performance Arts Guild (IPAG) will perform in MSU-IIT; September 16-17
  • Pagpakanaug ni Sr. San MiguelSt. Michael's Cathedral; September 20
  • Silent Drill Competition - Anahaw Amphitheater; September 26
  • Diyandi Streetdancing Competition - Anahaw Amphitheater; September 27
  • Miss Iligan Coronation Night - MSU-IIT Gym; September 27
